Caves & City Center - CU85

Visit two highlights of Curacao, the Hato Caves and the famous City Center, which is listed on the Unesco World Heritage list. The caves are home to beautiful limestone formations and the variety of stalagmites and stalactites. In the center you visit the floating market and view coloreful merchant houses, Fort Amsterdam and cross the famous floating bridge on your way back to the ship. Participants must be in good physical condition as there are 100 steps at Hato Caves.

Visit one of Curacao's top natural attractions and take a guided walk in Willemstad's historic center. A short drive brings you to Hato Caves, whose dramatic formations reveal Curacao's origins. Discover Dutch heritage and multicultural influences in the colorful capital as you stroll past sights like markets, the colonial-era fort that is the government seat, fanciful mansions, and the pontoon bridge. You may opt to remain in town, returning to the ship on your own.

• Hato Caves: Discover stalagmites, stalactites, unique species and local lore inside the limestone cavern.
• Historic Willemstad: Explore the city center on a guided walk, crossing the floating pontoon bridge to return to the ship.
