Pass most of the cities main sights such as the Royal Palace, the Parliament Building and Opera House. Drive through the modern city centre, along the water to the island of Djurgarden with the Vasa Museum. Drive across the island of Kungsholmen and across the Western Bridge where you have a great view of the city.

Fjaellgatan with its magnificent view of the city is a must as well as the enchanting medieval Old Town, "Gamla Stan" with the Royal Palace overlooking Stockholm's inner harbour.
From the historic Island of Riddarholmen, adjacent to the Old Town and mostly regarded as a part of it, you have a stunning view over the Lake Maelaren and the City Hall.
Proceed past the Royal Dramatic Theatre along Strandvagen to the island of Djurgarden, regarded as Stockholm's amusement and recreation centre with great parklands and beautiful gardens but also with many cafes and restaurants as well as the Groena Lund Tivoli, the Skansen Open Air Museum and the well known Vasa Museum, housing the 17th century warship Vasa.
Continue through the Diplomat quarters and through Oestermalm, a fashionable neighbourhood of stately apartment buildings, to the modern shopping and business areas at Hamngatan and Sergels Torg.
On the island of Kungsholmen you will pass the impressive City Hall, renowned for its architecture, mosaics and for being the site of the annual Nobel Prize Banquet. Proceed south via the Western Bridge to Soedermalm before returning to the ship.Please note that itinerary can be done in a revised order.
Note: Guests must be able to walk approximately 50 yards over even surfaces in the port terminal area and 2 - 3 steps to enter/exit the coach. There are no shopping stops on this tour. You will stop for photos only. No interior visits will be made during this excursion. Tour order may vary but all mentioned sights would be covered.
