Copenhagen Harbor Tour - CP05
Enjoy a comprehensive look at Copenhagen by land and sea. The tour starts by coach and takes you for a short sightseeing tour through the city – passing places of interest. At Gammel Strand, formerly the Old Fish Market, you change from bus to boat. The leisurely cruise takes you through the canals of Christianshavn.
Enjoy a comprehensive look at "Wonderful, Wonderful Copenhagen", as the song goes - by land and sea.
The tour starts by coach and takes you for a short sightseeing tour through the city - passing places of interest such as The King's New Square and the Royal Theatre, Amalienborg Palace - the residence of the Royal Family, Town Hall Square, the Tivoli Gardens and the New Carlsberg Glyptoteque.
At Gammel Strand - formerly the Old Fish Market - you change from bus to boat. The leisurely cruise takes you through the canals of Christianshavn with its picturesque old buildings, the Royal Library's new building, Black Diamond, and Our Saviour's Church with its green and gold steeple and other landmarks. After this, you will make a stop at the original location of the Little Mermaid, the fairytale creation of Hans Christian Andersen before the coach takes you back to the pier.
Note: Guests are required to climb 10 steps to board the coach and canal boat. Participants should take care while entering/existing the canal boats. There is approx. 400 yards of walking over even and cobblestone surfaces with 2 to 3 steps. Depending on traffic and how crowded the attractions are, the guide may alter the order of the tour.
