General Oscar Wergeland established this park in 1875-78. Ravnedalen features an abundant flora, rare trees and a pond where you frequently can observe swans. In fact the park won “Norway’s Greenest Park” award. At the cafeteria in the Ravnedalen Scenic Park you will sit down and enjoy a coffee or tea and a Norwegian waffle.
After a relaxing break you will board coaches again and drive back to the city. Driving back you will pass through idyllic residential areas with picturesque white painted wooden homes from 1920-1930. The area is constructed like an English Garden City and is now under special regulation due to their architectural value.
Note: The tour will operate in all kinds of weather and passengers should wear suitable clothes. Flat and comfortable footwear is a must.
