Get to know parts of Vallarta that you simply can´t esplore by bus and enjoy a stroll through Gringo Gulch, Rio Cuale and Olas Altas districts.. Your helpful guide will be on hand throughout the walk, and keep you well informed and entertained along the way. At the end, there will be time for shopping in Olas Altas, before returning to the ship.
Discover parts of Vallarta that you just can´t get to by coach, and enjoy a stroll through Gringo Gulch, Cuale Island and Olas Altas districts.
You´ll travel in air conditioned coach to the center of downtown, to the residential district known as Gringo Gulch, the former neighbourhood of Liz Taylor. Here, you'll begin your guided stroll along some of Vallarta´s most charming streets. This aaproximately 90 minute walk will take you over cobblestone streets and historic walkways, filled with interesting architechture and folklore.
At the end of the walk, about 30 minutes will be allowed for shopping in the famed Olas Altas district, where you can find deals on silver, souvenirs and more. Afterward, you'll board the coach and enjoy a leisurely 20 minute drive through the area, then return directly to the ship.
It is suggested that guests wear comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen and hat.
