Drive to the town of Safed in the upper Galilee, the capital and the birthplace of the Kabbalah. Today Safed is the focus of fascinating kabbalistic activities. People from all over the world gather here to experience Jewish spirituality. Kabbalah teaches us to enrich our lives with the wisdom of the mystics and to add spiritual and cosmic meaning to our daily lives.
You will pass through ancient alleys to visit the synagogues and sites where the kabbalists lived and worked. You’ll meet artists and view their work which has been influenced by kabbalistic symbols. You will get to see an introductory film on Kabbalah and have the opportunity to participate in a presentation which deciphers the code hidden in a person’s name and reveals the hidden powers of the soul. Your tour continues as your guide takes you into the Galilee mountains to visit a Kabbalah grave site. You are sure to enjoy this unique outdoor, meditative and spiritual experience.
Lunch will be served in a hotel / café or house in the old city. There will be about 25 minutes to browse through the local shops.

-Please wear conservative attire and cover shoulders and knees as religious sites are visited on the tour.
-Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
- Guests may be required to check bags at designated check points.
-There is an uphill climb of approximately 1 km and then walking in the Old City for approximately 45 minutes.
- The itinerary may alter depending on local traffic or local conditions.
