Perhaps the best way to experience Ponce’s history and culture is on foot, and on this fully guided stroll you’ll not only walk through Plaza Las Delicias but also browse historic museums. Hit the pavement in the well-preserved old town district of Ponce, Puerto Rico’s second-largest city named after the great-grandson of Spanish conquistador Juan Ponce de Leon. Start the tour by Walking to Parque de Bombas, it is one of Puerto Rico's most notable buildings, with some considering it "by far the most easily recognized landmark in the Island”. Then enter the Museo de Historia de Ponce, history museum housed in Casa Salazar-Zapater to view a collection of documents and relics that tell the story of the city’s historical development. Take a walk to Ponce City Hall. Your last stop in Plaza Las Delicias, the town’s main square, lands you in the midst of lion-inspired fountains, the town’s oldest colonial building, plus a century-old wooden firehouse and Ponce Cathedral, which dates back to 1670.

Highlights:
• Ponce: Enjoy a guided walking tour around Puerto Rico’s second-largest city, plus trace its rich history through museum exhibits.
• Plaza Las Delicias: Fountains, a brightly colored firehouse, City Hall and Ponce Cathedral await you in the city’s main square.
