Admire drawings, paintings and photography by celebrated talents including Winslow Homer, Georgia O’Keeffe, Fitz Henry Lane and others. Then enter the Center for Maine Contemporary Art, a 5,000-square-foot creative space dating back to 1952. These exhibitions feature installations by emerging and established artists with ties to Maine — Lois Dodd, David Driskell and Neil Welliver are among the hundreds of artists who have shown their works. At the onsite ArtLab you’ll even get the chance to create your own piece of art during an interactive workshop that might have you drawing or making collages.
