Perfect Day at CocoCay® is Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas, and it's designed to have everything you need for your ideal vacation day. Whether you want to race through a splash park with your giggling toddler or spend a chill afternoon relaxing on a beach by a swim-up bar, you can find your speed.

Among the many inclusions available to you at no cost, you'll have access to an expansive pool retreat, five included dining outposts and three beautiful beaches. At Perfect Day at CocoCay®, towels are included as are umbrellas and beach chairs. There's also a complimentary tram service that takes you around the island, as well as complimentary changing rooms, lockers, and showers available.

And, while drink and internet packages are not free, if you have a beverage package on the ship it can be used at any bar across the island. The same pertains to a VOOM® high speed internet package — if you purchased one onboard, you'll have access to high-speed Wi-Fi around the island, too.

1. Splashaway Bay℠

The free waterpark on Perfect Day at CocoCay® is easily found upon arrival on the island and provides gallons of fun. What's better than drenching buckets, spraying fountains or waterslides? The fact that whiling away the day among whirlpools and excited yelps as the whole family cools off comes with no additional fee.

2. Chill Island℠

You may be wondering — what else can you do besides Splashaway Bay? Well, the answer is plenty but the Chill island is definitely a highlight. Follow the first bridge you cross and head to the left to Chill Island℠, which awaits in tropical hues of blue and green. Complimentary loungers are here for you to bask in the rays above or bring your own snorkeling gear and wade into the water to look for stingrays. (Rental equipment is also available for a fee.) Leave the excursions for another day, but don't forget to layer on the sunscreen as the sunshine in The Bahamas burns bright.

3. Harbor Beach

Shallow and shimmering, the shores of Harbor Beach are a powdery dream. A playful central fountain sets the tone for this family-friendly white-sand beach. This is the place to spread out the buckets and shovels you stashed in your luggage and make sand castles with your kids — one of the best free activities at Perfect Day at CocoCay® and an ideal photo op. Plus, close proximity to the ship means it's easy to head back for a nap when the little ones are out of steam.

4. South Beach

South Beach is a great option for the 18-plus crowd. While it's not officially for adults only, the vibe here caters to the older set. Located at the island's far end, this is a haven for dedicated sun worshippers, with gorgeous tracks of soft sand and proximity to a floating bar that serves tasty rum punch.

5. Oasis Lagoon^®

Among the free activities at Perfect Day at CocoCay®, the centerpiece is the Oasis Lagoon^®, a pool complex that boasts different coves for different vibes. Envision a sparkling, sprawling pool where you can sip a frosty frozen drink (for a fee) at the swim-up bar and listen to a dj playing lively beats from the underwater speakers in the deep end. You can also tuck yourself into a sun lounger on one of the islands within the pool or find the party crew huddled around a set of submerged loungers. There's a family-friendly cove featuring a sloped entry, allowing kids to join in the fun.

6. Sports Court

If you're getting antsy simply lying on the beach, head to the Sports Court for a pickup game of basketball or toss a frisbee, both free activities at Perfect Day at CocoCay® and a great way to keep teens happy and occupied in the sun.

7. Captain Jill's^℠ Galleon

You don't need a map to find this hot spot, a favorite with the preschool set. Permanently shipwrecked at the center of the Arrivals Plaza, Captain Jill's Galleon is an inviting pirate ship that entices young swashbucklers and aspiring buccaneers with water cannons, slides and plenty of space to splash.

8. Snack Shack

If you have tweens or teens, you may be wondering ... is the Snack Shack free? The answer is yes, and thank goodness — growing boys can especially put a dent in these menus, and you know they don't look at price lists. With two locations adjacent to the Oasis Lagoon^®and South Beach, this grab-and-go eatery offers everyone's favorite American cookout fare such as hot dogs, cheeseburgers, crispy chicken sandwiches and fries, as well as mozzarella sticks, both Greek and Caesar salads, brownies, cookies and funnel cake. (Tip: The funnel cake — a boardwalk favorite for many families — is a real fan favorite here.)

9. Skipper's Grill And Chill Grill

Included dining options at Perfect Day at CocoCay®. The grill buffets feature classic favorites like hot dogs, hamburgers, grilled chicken, sandwiches, corn, french fries and salads. You'll also find taco stations with all the fixings as well as rice and beans, and casual desserts such as cookies, brownies and plenty of fresh fruit.
