Harmony of the Seas, the latest of Royal Caribbean’s innovative ships (and the latest, largest ship in the world) is in the final phase of construction in St. Nazaire, France. Take a one-minute tour of the ship which is 1,187 feet long, 218 feet wide, 18 decks (that is a lot of carpet and tile) and 227,000 GRT. When she sails out of Barcelona, Spain she will have capacity for 6,780 guests and 2,300 crew members from around the world.

The really important numbers for this ship are the adventures and amenities Harmony will bring together. Fan favorite features of the line’s Oasis-class ships and Quantum-class smartships are combined on Harmony. Seven neighborhoods including Boardwalk, Central Park and Royal Promenade, capture experiences as varied as a day in the park, a ramble down a seaside midway or enjoying a bar crawl along high street.

Three, that’s the number of water slides in The Perfect Storm installation featured in the Pool and Sport Zone neighborhood, or 150 feet, that’s how high above the ocean you will be standing at the jumping off point for The Ultimate Abyss. That is a 100-foot plunge – down 10 stories – from the top deck to the landing zone in the Boardwalk. It will take you about 10 seconds to make the trip, maybe a little longer to catch your breath.

Zen master or adventure seeker, Harmony of the Seas is bringing together all the elements needed to strike just the right chord for you. See it here.
