What kind of refund am I entitled to if I cancel my cruise booking?


For sailings booked on or before August 1st, 2020: 

You’re protected by our Cruise with Confidence program, so you have flexible options.

Yes, you can cancel. But first, have you considered our Lift and Shift option? It allows you to simply move your existing booking to next year, honoring the original pricing and/or promotion you enjoyed when you booked it. Learn more.

If you must cancel, you may do so up to 48 hours before you sail and get a future cruise credit. You will have through December 31, 2021 or 12 months from your cancellation date – whichever is further –  to redeem your Future Cruise Certificate and cruise with us again. 

For sailings booked after August 1st, 2020: 

Cruise with Confidence does not apply. Please see below for the Cancellation policy for all sailings booked after August 1st, 2020.

If you or anybody travelling with you wishes to cancel either your/their holiday, you must contact us (if booking direct) or your travel advisor. If you cancel you will have to pay the cancellation charges set out below:

5 days or less before sailing: 100% 

6 to 14 days before sailing: 90% 

15 - 28 days before sailing: 75% 

29 - 56 days before sailing: 50% 

57 days or more before sailing: deposit only (£150 per person) 

The minimum cancellation charge will always be the loss of deposit. Any amendment or transfer fees you've previously added will also be charged when a booking is cancelled. If you need to make a significant amendment within 56 days of your departure date, your booking may be treated as a cancellation and rebook so cancellation charges will apply. Depending on the reason for cancellation, you may be able to reclaim these cancellation charges (less any applicable excess) under the terms of your insurance policy. Claims must be made directly to your insurance company. Where any cancellation reduces the number of full paying party members below the number on which the price, number of free places and/or any concessions agreed for your booking were based, we will recalculate these items and re-invoice you at the applicable higher price.
