From the airport, your transfer brings you to the hotel where your Adventure Specialist welcomes you to Alaska. Then Anchorage is yours to discover. With lively nightlife, an eclectic dining scene and miles of urban trails, there’s much to explore on a sunny summer night. Overnight at the Anchorage Marriott. * The tour component of your Cruisetour vacation is comprised of a dedicated tour guide, included experiences, lodging, and transportation as described. Discover Alaska’s spectacular landscape on the motor coach ride to Denali. In the afternoon, experience the untamed beauty of Denali on the Denali Natural History Tour, where you’ll scout the tundra and forest for wildlife with a park ranger. From 6:30 p.m., Denali is yours to explore. Hike the scenic trails that surround the lodge. Or book an optional excursion, like flightseeing or rafting on the Nenana River. Overnight at Grizzly Bear Resort.

Tour Day 3
Spend some time enjoying the scenery around the lodge — walking the trails or relaxing with a view of the river — before boarding the glass-domed cars of the Wilderness Express for the train ride to Talkeetna. In Talkeetna, boarding your motor coach for the drive to Anchorage. From 6:30 p.m., Anchorage is yours to discover. Check out the eclectic dining scene, try a local craft beer or stroll the waterfront in the late evening light. Overnight at the Anchorage Marriott.

In the morning, board your motor coach for the scenic drive to Seward. In the afternoon, head out on the Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise which takes you into remote areas that support an array of wildlife. Your Adventure Specialist wishes you a bon voyage at the pier where you’ll board your ship.

If you’re thinking about a cruise from Seward, Alaska, you probably have a taste for wild, outdoor adventures and rugged natural beauty. It’s a good thing, because this iconic destination in Alaska offers plenty of both. If you love to hike, you’ll find an abundance of scenic trails nearby just waiting to be explored, like the Mount Marathon Trail, the Resurrection River Trail, and the Tonsina Point Trail. And the famous Kenai Fjords National Park is just a five-minute drive away from town. Get into some active adventure, whether it’s water-biking False Creek or mountain-biking the North Shore. Evenings are best spent dining and drinking in Yaletown’s hip warehouse district.
