Mariner of the Seas: Thursday, September 29, 2022 sailing from Port Canaveral

Along with our Chief Meteorologist, we’ve continued monitoring inclement weather related to Hurricane Ian. While we had hoped to sail Friday, Port Canaveral needs some time to conduct their inspections and surveys to ensure it is safe to resume regular operations. As a result, this sailing will now depart Saturday, October 1st and return as planned on Monday, October 3rd. Your boarding time will be the same time you were originally supposed to board. While we won’t be able to visit Nassau, we’ll visit our private destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay on Sunday.

While these circumstances are beyond our control, we understand that this change impacts your vacation. Below are your options, including the option to cancel for a 100% refund.

For guests that decide to sail:

  • Since we’re cutting the cruise short, we’ll provide you with the value of 3 days of your cruise fare as a refundable onboard credit.
  • Plus, you’ll receive a prorated refundable onboard credit for any pre-cruise packages you have purchased, including RoyalUp.
  • If you pre-purchased any Royal Caribbean International shore excursions for Nassau, they will be refunded as a refundable onboard credit. We will do our best to preserve any activities you originally reserved for your day at Perfect Day at CocoCay. If we cannot accommodate your reservation, we will contact you directly.
  • All of these credits can be used anywhere onboard, and any unused balance will be refunded to the card associated with your onboard account.

For those who wish to cancel:

While we can’t wait to set sail with you, we understand this was an unexpected change. Should you no longer wish to sail or want to change your sail date, please contact your Travel Advisor or give us a call at 1 866 562 7625 by October 1st, 2022. You’ll receive a full refund of any paid portion of your cruise to the original form of payment, including non-refundable deposits and any pre-paid amenities, within 14 business days.

Airfare and hotels:

Impacted guests and Travel Advisors should check your inbox for further details on airfares and hotels.

We’re truly sorry for the weather’s impact on your vacation. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation during this unexpected circumstance.
