Why and when will the DreamWorks Experience no longer be offered on Royal Caribbean ships? Is there a replacement for the program?

Royal Caribbean is always looking to the future and exploring new ways to exceed our guests’ expectations. We’ve been conducting extensive research to better understand and anticipate what matters most to the families of today — and tomorrow. And in 2019, we’re looking forward to delivering brand new experiences for families, kids and teens. As we shift focus toward these new possibilities, our 9 ships that offer DreamWorks moments will no longer feature the program as of April 2019 sailings. All sailings that depart before this day will have the program for the entire sailing. We’ll continue to offer countless ways for families to make unforgettable memories onboard.

The DreamWorks ice skating show and DreamWorks AquaTheater show on Allure of the Seas will be replaced with family-friendly shows designed by our award-winning teams at Royal Caribbean Productions. The sail away party and Royal Promenade parade, on select ships, will be replaced with original parties and programming. Our ships will continue to lead in family offerings, like the complimentary Adventure Ocean youth program designed for ages 3-11 in the largest dedicated youth facilities at sea, plus dedicated teen-only spaces, innovations like FlowRider, Perfect Storm water slides, glow-in-the-dark laser tag and Royal Escape Room, plus shows and parties that delight every age. Note that offerings vary by ship; booked guests can explore everything their ship offers.
