Why is Barbados a must-visit destination? Will Royal Caribbean offer year-round sailings?

Barbados is one of the most popular Southern Caribbean destinations with infrastructure to support a homeporting program.  For soft, sandy beaches, warm clear seas and gentle tropical breezes, look no further than Barbados. But there’s so much more to this tropical Caribbean paradise. From botanical gardens to caves, a visit to Barbados will be unforgettable. As the birthplace of rum, a stop at one of their distilleries for a tasting is a must. Historical Bridgetown is a UNESCO World Heritage site, where visitors can enjoy the charm of the city as well as the famous Bajan cuisine. Our new home port in Barbados also extends the variety of our itineraries, introducing new ports of call such as Trinidad, Tobago, St. Vincent, and Grenada.

At this time, the Barbados home port program will be a winter program (Dec 2021 – April 2022), but if this becomes one of our most popular itineraries, we may later increase the number of sailings.
