What is a SARS-CoV-2 test?

A SARS-CoV-2 test is a laboratory test that is intended to detect the virus that causes COVID-19. It can identify if someone has the virus at the time of sampling.  A sample is collected and then sent to a laboratory for testing. In some cases, a sample may be obtained from the deep nasal cavity. Guests with an active nosebleed in the past 24 hours, nasal surgery in the past two weeks or with low platelet count cannot take the Antigen/ PCR tests.
