Q

What protocols are in place for a safe dining experience onboard? What are the protocols at buffets and restaurants?

A

All your favorite restaurants you've been craving will be waiting for you onboard— though some changes have been made for your safety. All restaurant seating will be arranged to allow for physical distancing, so guests can eat and drink without face masks while seated, and tables and chairs will be disinfected regularly. All crew will wear face masks and gloves at all times. Restaurants and bars will feature QR codes that will let you view menus right on your phone. Buffets will now be served by crew rather than self-service, and more covered or wrapped grab-and-go items will be made available for your convenience at buffets and cafes around the ship. We will gladly accommodate walk-ins when availability permits, but reservations are recommended for the Windjammer buffet due to limited capacity.

On sailings departing 22 November 2021, dining in our restaurants is only available if all guests are vaccinated – unvaccinated children under 12 may be included in the group of 5 if from same household.

Health and safety protocols, guest conduct rules, as well as regional travel restrictions and clearance to visit ports of call, are subject to change without notice based on ongoing evaluation, public health standards, and government requirements. Onboard and destination experiences, features, itineraries, and guest conduct rules vary by ship and destination and are subject to change without notice.
