Built at Meyer Werft, Papenburg, Germany, the ship has a gross registered tonnage (GRT) of 168,666 and a cruising speed of 22 knots. It is 347+ metres long and 41+ metres wide, and includes 16 decks. Of the 2,094 staterooms, 1,571 have a balcony, 16 are family connected and 34 are wheelchair accessible. A staggering 1,500 international crew members work onboard for a maximum total of 4,905 guests. Quantum of the Seas features various first-at-sea activities, including Ripcord® by iFly®, North Star® and the Bionic Bar®.
