Ocean Waves

We are committed to your peace of mind — both through science-backed protocols designed to keep you healthy, and the flexibility to cancel your plans if you need.

For our guests cruising from Australia, requirements may vary by port of departure and by age group. We are continually evaluating these requirements and will make updates in line with Australian Federal and State Government regulations. All guests will be advised via email of the latest requirements for their port of departure before sailing.

Medical Grade Cleaning Standards

Medical Grade Cleaning Standards

Royal Caribbean takes great pride in keeping our ships sparkling clean. Our evolved sanitisation protocols use EPA-certified disinfectants and techniques like electrostatic fogging to clean frequently and consistently. Plus we’ve reduced the need to touch surfaces wherever possible. Find out more about our cleaning protocols here.

Fresh Filtered Air

100% Fresh, Filtered Air

There's nothing like the fresh air of the open ocean, wherever you are on board. On Royal Caribbean® ships, our HVAC system continuously supplies 100% fresh, filtered air from outdoors to all indoor spaces. You can breathe easy knowing that, thanks to this robust system, the transmission of aerosol particles between spaces (like those from a cough) is extremely low to virtually impossible – as validated in an independent assessment conducted by the University of Nebraska Medical Centre and the National Strategic Research Institute on board a Royal Caribbean ship. Find out more about our air and cleaning protocols here.

And, in the event of a suspected case of COVID-19, we’re fully prepared with sound care plans, including rapid testing onboard.
