Arrive in Anchorage where an airport transfer brings you to the hotel where your Adventure Specialist welcomes you. You’re then free to explore. The big city has an fun, eclectic dining scene with a lively summer ambience. The Tony Knowles Coastal Trail is perfect for strolling along the waterfront under the evening sun. Overnight at the Anchorage Marriott. * The tour component of your Cruisetour vacation is comprised of a dedicated tour guide, included experiences, lodging, and transportation as described. Ride in comfort aboard the deluxe motor coach from the city into the wilderness, en-route you'll stop at a local dog kennel to learn about 'The Last Great Race' and meet the dog team and in the evening enjoy a s'mores party with your fellow adventurers. From 4:30 p.m., Denali is yours to explore. Walk the scenic trails that surround the lodge. Or ask your Adventure Specialist to book an optional excursion that suits your family’s style. Overnight at Denali Park Village.

Explore Denali National Park on the Denali Natural History Tour, traveling into the park’s unspoiled wilderness on the lookout for the moose, caribou, bears and other wildlife Then it’s all aboard the glass-domed cars of the Wilderness Express for the scenic ride to Talkeetna. From 5:00 p.m., enjoy a free evening in Talkeetna. Wander the trails around the lodge, or head down to the end of the main street to the park where three wild rivers meet. Overnight at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge.

Relax on the deluxe motor coach on the drive to the Anchorage Museum and its kid-friendly Imaginarium Discovery Center. Then continue on to the coast for a guided visit of the Alaska Sealife Center, home to an aquarium and rescued animals. Say goodbye to your Adventure Specialist at the cruise ship terminal.

If you’re thinking about a cruise from Seward, Alaska, you probably have a taste for wild, outdoor adventures and rugged natural beauty. It’s a good thing, because this iconic destination in Alaska offers plenty of both. If you love to hike, you’ll find an abundance of scenic trails nearby just waiting to be explored, like the Mount Marathon Trail, the Resurrection River Trail, and the Tonsina Point Trail. And the famous Kenai Fjords National Park is just a five-minute drive away from town. Within Seward itself, you can set out on an early morning or late afternoon stroll past the historic buildings and colorful murals that line Main Street. Or paddle out on a kayaking adventure to the ancient tidewater caves within Resurrection Bay. Feeling the wanderlust yet? Make sure to spend a few days exploring this one-of-a-kind coastal city ahead of your cruise from Seward — you’ll be glad you did.
Your ship departs promptly at 8:00 pm, so plan to arrive at least 2-3 hours early to account for checking in and boarding protocols. During this time, many of the ship's amenities are open and operating, so feel free to start your holiday early.

At 76 miles long and seven miles wide, North America’s largest tidewater glacier makes even the largest ships in the region feel small. Watch massive chunks of Hubbard Glacier’s translucent blue ice crash into the bay with a bang like a cannon shot, a sound the Tlingit people call “White Thunder.”

In Juneau, the thrills are as endless as the surrounding wilderness.

Day 11 2026-09-18 Vancouver, British Columbia Arrives at 5:30 am
Kick off the afternoon lunching on xiaolongbao buns in Chinatown. Then explore the city’s cultural offerings at the Bill Reid Gallery or Vancouver Art Gallery. Get into some active adventure, whether it’s water-biking False Creek or mountain-biking the North Shore. Evenings are best spent dining and drinking in Yaletown’s hip warehouse district.
The cruise might have ended, but there are still some great activities to enjoy in the area. If you flew into this port, be mindful of your departure flight time and plan accordingly.
