By entering the Prize Draw, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”). Completion and submission of an entry will also be deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Promotional materials relating to the Prize Draw, including all information on how to enter the Prize Draw published by Royal Caribbean Group (including social media, if applicable) also apply to this Prize Draw. In the event of any conflict between any other published terms and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions take precedence.
HOW TO ENTER
1. This free-to-enter prize draw is promoted by RCL Cruises Limited incorporated in England and Wales with company number 07366612 and registered address at 3 The Heights, Brooklands, Weybridge, Surrey, KT13 0NY, trading as Royal Caribbean International (the 'Promoter').
2. The prize draw is only open to individual registered holders of a current valid Blue Light Card who are aged 18 or over on the date of entry, and who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at least two weeks prior to sailing. (‘Entrants’). Only entries that fully comply with the Promoter’s most recent published Terms and Conditions will be valid. Blue Light Card is operated by Blue Light Card Ltd, Company Registration Number 06581540, who are not promoters of this Prize Draw and have no liability to Entrants.
3. Entries must be submitted following the instructions on the Promoter’s website between 0800hrs (BST) on 13 April 2021 and 23.59hrs (BST) on 20 April 2021 to be eligible for a prize. (“Entry Period”).
4. Entrants must be residents of the United Kingdom and must not be employees or agents of any Royal Caribbean Group company or be otherwise connected with the operation or fulfilment of the Prize Draw (including third-party promotional partners) and their respective associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies, and the immediate families and household members of all such employees and agents.
5. Entrants may submit multiple entries, but each Entrant shall only be entered once into the Prize Draw. Entries which are not submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions will not be accepted. Use of script, macro or any automated system to enter the Prize Draw is prohibited and entries made (or which appear to have been made) using any such system may be treated as void. Multiple and bulk entries per-person, or automatically generated or third-party entries are void. Any incomplete or fraudulent entries will be rejected. Entrants should be aware that they may be subject to data charges depending on their own individual arrangements for Internet access when entering the Prize Draw.
6. Promoter reserves the right to remove from the Prize Draw any entries submitted if, in its reasonable opinion, it suspects a breach of these Terms and Conditions or if it receives any valid complaint from a third-party relating to such entry.
THE PRIZE
7. A total of Nine Hundred and Ninety-Nine (999) prize winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries entered during the Prize Draw Period. The winners will be informed via email on or before 30 April 2021, or as soon as practicable thereafter if a re-draw is required (see Clause 12 below).
8. Prizes shall consist of a 4-night Ocean Getaways cruise for up to two adults and two children sharing a stateroom (chosen by Promoter at its sole discretion) onboard one of the first two ‘Anthem of the Seas’ cruises from Southampton this summer, departing on July 7, 2021 and July 11, 2021.
9. Additional paying guests may be booked subject to availability, however infants must be aged over 12 months to sail, because there are 3 consecutive sea days. There will be a selection of double, triple and quad occupancy staterooms and these will be allocated as part of the ballot when prize winners advise their guest requirements. These staterooms are subject to availability.
10. No other type of travel arrangements are included that are not specified in the prize, such as stateroom upgrade, airline tickets, hotel stays before or after the cruise, transfers to or from the port of embarkation, excursions, travel insurance, taxes, tips or any other type of cost.
11. The winner will be responsible for the payment of the fees and pre-payment for additional services aboard the cruise, which must be paid directly to Promoter through a valid credit card.
12. (i) Prize fulfilment will be managed by the Promoter who will notify the winner by sending an email message to the address provided by the winner with their entry. Winner must accept the prize by completing the steps in this email within the outlined timeframe in the email from the Promoter, and must also provide the Promoter with details of any travelling companion(s), along with all guest’s passport details, valid email addresses and contact telephone numbers so that the booking can be fulfilled. Winner must get travelling companion’s prior written consent to share their personal details with Promoter.
(ii) In the event that the selected participant declines the prize, or fails to respond to the Promoter’s email message within the time limit and in the manner set out in Clause 12 (i) above, the Promoter shall randomly select another winner who shall be notified and shall also be required to comply with the obligations in Clause 12 (i). If after the random selection of two winners they rejected the prize in writing or did not respond to the communication by the brand, the prize would be void.
13. Winner will be responsible for ensuring that they and their guest hold passports valid for at least six months after the prize cruise ends, any necessary visas and travel documents for the holiday in question and ensure that they are available on the travel dates specified. No change of passengers is allowed.
14. Winners must obtain adequate travel insurance for themselves and their travelling companions. Winner shall provide evidence of such travel insurance to Promoter on demand.
15. Promoter reserves the right to modify departure dates if there is no availability on the winner’s chosen date at the time of booking. Promoter is responsible solely for the cruise elements of this prize and takes no responsibility for any other travel arrangements that you may make with third parties.
16. Once the date of the trip is communicated, it is irremovable, and if the winner is not available to travel on the selected dates, they will lose the corresponding prize.
17. The details of the winner and their travel companions cannot be modified once communicated to the company.
18. Prize is subject to the standard Booking Terms and Conditions of Promoter, available at www.royalcaribbean.com/gbr/en as applicable and save where expressly varied herein. Promoter reserves the right to modify the departure date as long as there is no availability on the agreed date at the time of booking.
19. All guests aged 18 and over must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at least two weeks prior to sailing and guests under 18 will require a negative RT-PCR test result for COVID-19 within 72 hours of sailing. Further information regarding COVID_19 test requirements will be shared at least 30 days prior to sailing.20. At the time of awarding the prize, Winners must complete a document with their personal data in which the prize is accepted, and the conditions thereof being in agreement and stating that they have nothing more to demand from Promoter.
21. Prize is non-transferrable and may only be redeemed by the winner. Prize cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for cash in whole or in part.
22. Winners are responsible for paying all associated costs that are not specifically stated in these Terms and Conditions, including (where applicable) transport, accommodation or upgrades, meal costs, spending money, insurance and all other incidentals. Winners are also personally responsible for any personal or incidental expenses and any VAT, national and/or local tax liabilities incurred in claiming or using the Prize. By participating in the Prize Draw, participants agree that the Prize is awarded on an "as is" basis, and that neither Promoter nor any of its subsidiary or affiliated companies, make any representations or warranties of any nature with respect to the Prize.
23. In the event that, for reasons beyond their reasonable control, Promoter is unable to award the Prize as described in these Terms and Conditions, Promoter reserves the right to award a prize of a similar nature and an equivalent value, or at its sole discretion, the cash value of the Prize. Promoter also reserves the right to award a prize of a similar nature and an equivalent value, or at its sole discretion, the cash value of the Prize if in its reasonable discretion it is appropriate to do so.
GENERAL
24. By entering this competition, each participant is providing information to Promoter who undertakes to process participant’s personal details in accordance with the provisions of Directive 95/46 / EC (the “Privacy Law”) and (ii) any applicable laws implementing the Privacy Law in the UK, where authorized participants of this competition must be resident ("Applicable Laws").
25. It is a condition of acceptance of a prize these terms and conditions are accepted and that the entrant agrees to abide by these rules. Submission of any information by entrant will be taken to mean acceptance of these terms and conditions.
26. Promoter may reject any submissions, or at any time disqualify entrants, if the submissions or the entrant/user is in breach of any of these terms and conditions and/or in Promoter’s reasonable opinion, is inappropriate because, without limitation, it infringes and/or may infringe third party rights, defames other persons and/or denigrates trademarks, institutions and/or cultures and/or is in any manner in breach of the laws, moral, uses and/or etiquette rules generally required from internet users.
27. Late, incomplete, invalid and/or corrupt submissions will not be accepted and will be disqualified. No discussion as to the winner shall be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of the prize draw at any time.
28. Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of at least equal value in the event of unavailability for reasons outside the control of the Promoter.
29. Winner and runners-up (if any) may be asked to agree that their details may be announced contemporaneously on Promoter’s website or social media in the format “Mr/Ms [Surname] of [Town]”. The winner’s details in this format may also be shared (with their consent) in marketing material of the Promoter, including the Promoter’s Blog, Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram for a period of 6 months following the announcement of the winner of the competition.
30. Promoter shall also be entitled to make use of any comments provided to them with consent by winner via any social media sites for the benefit of promoting Royal Caribbean companies subject always to the applicable policies of the social media websites.
31. Multiple entries by a single participant will not invalidate entries, however each participant will only be entered into the prize draw once. For the avoidance of doubt, multiple entries will not increase your chance of winning the prize.
32. Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify this competition, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, a change in applicable law or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of this competition, as determined by Promoter in its sole discretion.
33. The winner's title, surname and county can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Promoter, FAO Marketing Team at the address above within 30 days of the competition closing. Winners and runners-up agree to their details being shared for this purpose.
34. Blue Card Limited or any affiliated entities are not in any way associated with this competition and have no liability to winners or participants.
35. This competition shall be subject to England and Wales law, and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales shall prevail to hear any dispute or claim arising in association with the Prize Draw or these Terms and Conditions (except if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland).
