Ocean Waves

We’ve been back at sea for over a year now. The health of our guests and our crew has remained the top priority throughout. And our partnership with expert medical and scientific minds has guided us each step of the way. With tools like vaccination, testing, medical-grade cleaning, and advanced air filtration, we’ve proven we can deliver a healthy vacation. And our guests are able to get back to doing what they love — making memories.

Healthy Ships, Happy Guests

The protocols we've implemented are backed by science and designed to give you the peace of mind you deserve — whether you’re on vacation, or still planning it. These are just a few that form the cornerstone of our approach.

All Guests are Vaccinated or Tested

Vaccines are proven to be our most effective tool for keeping ourselves and others protected from COVID-19. That’s why all guests age 12 and older are required to be fully vaccinated to sail. Kids who are too young to be vaccinated are tested before boarding.

Medical Grade Cleaning Standards

Medical Grade Cleaning Standards

Royal Caribbean takes great pride in keeping our ships sparkling clean. Our evolved sanitisation protocols use EPA-certified disinfectants and techniques like electrostatic fogging to clean frequently and consistently. Plus we’ve reduced the need to touch surfaces wherever possible. Find out more about our cleaning protocols here.

Fresh Filtered Air

100% Fresh, Filtered Air

There's nothing like the fresh air of the open ocean, wherever you are on board. On Royal Caribbean® ships, our HVAC system continuously supplies 100% fresh, filtered air from outdoors to all indoor spaces. You can breathe easy knowing that, thanks to this robust system, the transmission of aerosol particles between spaces (like those from a cough) is extremely low to virtually impossible – as validated in an independent assessment conducted by the University of Nebraska Medical Centre and the National Strategic Research Institute on board a Royal Caribbean ship. Find out more about our air and cleaning protocols here.
