Day 1 Singapore, Singapore Departs at 4:00 pm

At first glance, this diamond-shaped island just off the coast of Malaysia gleams with modernism and commercialism, making it seem more Western than Eastern. But as you continue to discover the city-state, you'll uncover the eclectic mix of cultures, religions, ancient treasures and British colonial impressions that give rise to a unique Singaporean identity. The cultural fusion is perhaps best expressed in Singapore's unofficial language, Singlish, a unique patois of English, Chinese and Malay.
Your ship departs promptly at 4:00 pm, so plan to arrive at least 2-3 hours early to account for checking in and boarding protocols. During this time, many of the ship's amenities are open and operating, so feel free to start your holiday early.

Take the easy walk from the port in George Town to the city's UNESCO World Heritage zone — see 18th-century Fort Cornwallis, and check out the Taoist Goddess of Mercy Temple with its traditional Chinese architecture and ornamental dragons. Then, hail a cab to Penang Hill and take the tram to the cool, forested summit. Or head to Batu Ferringhi Beach, where you can relax in the smooth sands or jet-ski through clear blue waters.
Travel Tips
1
Walk carefully: Sidewalks are often used for motorcycle parking so it can be easier to walk on the road.
2
If you have time and are looking to stretch your legs, hike up Penang Hill instead of taking the tram — the trek takes about 90 minutes.

Day 3 Langkawi, Malaysia Docked from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

Let your imagination soar among the many magical myths and legends surrounding the 99 islands of Langkawi. Replete with ancient geological wonders like mysterious caves and mist-enrobed mountains, this premier vacation spot is a spectacular tropical paradise. The Pulau Payar Marine Park, located about 19 miles south of Langkawi, has everything from long, sandy white beaches and crystal-clear water to lush rain forests and exotic vegetation. The park includes an underwater coral garden, where you can swim and snorkel amidst multi-colored fish.

Day 4 Phuket, Thailand Tendered from 7:00 am - 8:00 pm

National LanguageThai
Currency AcceptedThai Baht
Get the best of Phuket's famous beach scene at Kata Noi, where lush green mountains hang over turquoise waves. Then, meet the local wildlife: Pet elephants at the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary or hang out with macaques on Monkey Hill — great mountain views await here, too. Or enjoy the islands just off the coast: Head to James Bond Island and see the distinctive pointy rock you may remember from 1974's "The Man With the Golden Gun."
Travel Tips
1
Negotiate carefully for transportation on longtail boats and taxis — writing down the agreed upon price can prevent disputes.
2
Wat Chalong Temple is an active place of worship: Cover your shoulders while inside as a gesture of respect.
