Does Royal Caribbean offer Religious Services onboard?

Royal Caribbean ships may offer religious services as follow:

Catholic mass

Priests are scheduled onboard Royal Caribbean ships for Easter, Christmas, and Crossings. For Easter and Christmas, priests are scheduled on the sailing where the holiday falls.

• If the holiday falls on a turnaround day, a priest will be scheduled for both the debarking and embarking voyages.
• For the sailing where the holiday falls on debarkation day, Mass will be held the day before debarkation.
• For the sailing embarking on the holiday, Mass will be held on embarkation day.

If a priest is onboard, daily Mass will be offered*.

Interdenominational Service

An interdenominational service will be offered when a priest is booked onboard by Royal Caribbean for Easter, Christmas, and Crossings*. The priest will lead the interdenominational service once per cruise and a minimum of once per 7 days on longer sailings.

Jewish holidays

Rabbis or Cantors are scheduled onboard Royal Caribbean ships for Hanukkah and Passover.

• For Hanukkah, a Rabbi or Cantor is scheduled for the eight nights of the holiday (except the last night, which does not require prayers or lighting of the menorah).
• During Passover, one Seder will be offered in an appropriate location*.
• During Hanukkah, the electric menorah will be illuminated, and the lighting will be led by the Rabbi or Cantor*.

Religious services depend on whether a priest, rabbi, or cantor is scheduled for your specific cruise. This information is only available once the sailing has begun in the Royal App and Cruise Compass (available onboard), or by visiting Guest Services onboard.
