The museum is a national landmark and is the only complete hotel still standing out of the eight hotels Plant built.
Tampa’s first streetcar lines started operating in 1892 and came to a halt in 1946 due to increased car and bus usage.
The streetcar was back in service by 2002 thanks to successful rallying, and now it’s transporting locals and tourists to their destinations. Riding the streetcar has been free since 2018.
It runs every 15 minutes and only takes 25 minutes from the first stop to the last. It also has extended weekend hours to accommodate those having a night out on the town.
