Explore the latest renovations on Amplified® Liberty of the Seas®, including exciting new water slide concepts, a pumped-up pool deck, upgraded dining featuring fleet favorites, refreshed staterooms and enhanced onboard experiences for every age. Exciting itineraries await the latest guests to enjoy the amplified offerings with sailings to Northern Europe, Spain and the Mediterranean, Western Caribbean and Mexico on the hotly anticipated schedule.
The Royal Amplified® program breathes new life into the ships and fleet favorites guests love. Far more than simple updates to superficial decor elements seen on some cruise lines, an Amplified ship enjoys new deckside activities, major restaurants and water features added to amp the signature Royal Caribbean excitement to its highest level yet. Another welcome addition for guests who need to connect a little to disconnect a lot is VOOM®, the fastest internet at sea. Seven Royal Caribbean ships have already been amplified, with Harmony of the Seas® and Ovation of the Seas® adding to the 2026 lineup.
Liberty of the Seas will make its way to its makeover moment in late April through May 2026, ready to reveal its fabulous new renovations with deckfuls of fun just in time for the start of the Europe summer season.
The Amplified Liberty of the Seas earned more than a touch-up during its marvelous makeover — longtime fleet favorites like Starbucks®, Izumi Teppanyaki℠ and El Loco Fresh℠ add to the onboard experience, with a new total of 15 delicious dining venues. Waterplay fans will find a revamped pool deck loaded with sunseeker thrills, shady places to chill and things to do. Little sailors can spread out at Splashaway Bay℠ with an enhanced water wonderland of splash cannons, a drench bucket and a marine-themed sprayground. You can bet this Amplified Liberty of the Seas is even better than ever (or on the 400 machines and 35 tables in the expanded Casino Royale℠).
If your idea of the perfect day at sea is sunseeking swims and soaks in an elevated hot tub, let your eyes get twice as big. If you’re playing poolside, you can put The Lime and Coconut℠ on your hit list and you’ll feel better with three decks of Caribbean beach vibes washing over you. (Try the Watermelon or Desert Pear ‘Rita for a fresh spin on the tropical classic!)
If your belly is begging for a break, don’t feed your FOMO; you can stay put in your in-water lounger. Grab some grub via poolside tacos, burgers and bites a backstroke away. Splash out on the new private casitas to take your trip to the next level.
It would be tough to top three stories of twisting, thrilling turns and drops on the dueling new Perfect Storm℠ waterslides of Typhoon℠ and Cyclone℠. Challenge accepted. Introducing the first boomerang-style waterslide at sea. Catch the Tidal Wave℠ and you’ll be spinning your head at the bounce back from this big splash blast.
Build-your-own bellyful of “comida buena.” El Loco Fresh is a Mexican fiesta feast of burritos, nachos, tacos and quesadillas created just for your crew with chicken, beef, cheese and pork options. Grab it to go or settle in for a tasty meal, complete with dessert. One bite of that Chocolate Dulce de Leche or Tres Leches cake and you’ll be this new eating hotspot’s biggest flan!
One of the most popular eateries in the Royal Caribbean family is being delivered direct to the decks of the Amplified Liberty of the Seas. Showmen chefs whip up a whirl of tiger shrimp, tender marinated chicken, NY strip steak, scallops (or go extra flashy with lobster paired abalone or Wagyu A4 beef) with sides of ginger-dressing-laced crisp greens, miso soup, fried rice and jokes for days. Add on some jumbo crispy soft shell crab, expertly sliced sashimi and finish with a chilled mochi sampler to satisfy your sweet tooth. Dinner is an event at Izumi Teppanyaki — all hail the hibachi!
Escape the old theme and puzzles with a whole new artsy-themed adventure awaiting your crew. Join forces with friends and family to solve riddles, unravel mysteries of the masterpieces and discover unexpected paths to victory when you use tech-enhanced elements around the space to reveal the key to your art school escape.
There’s no better way to celebrate and show off a new look than embarking on a new itinerary, with seldom (if ever) visited ports. This is what guests joining the Spanish Flair and Solar Eclipse cruises have in store. The August 2026 cruise will stop in Bilbao, Gijón, Vigo and La Coruña, Spain with a long bonus day reserved for romantic Paris (Le Havre), France.
Gijón offers an Old City fishermen’s quarter, home to the 18th-century Revillagigedo Palace, a 1.5km gold sand surf beach with a bustling promenade, 1st-century Roman baths and authentic Asturian culture with must-sip local “sidrerios” high-pour cider bars. Vigo is your oyster if you love shellfish and the idea of visiting Cies islands, with white sand beaches earning the “Caribbean of Spain” title or a trip up to the 1656 Castillo de Castro fortress for panoramic views of the city and sea.
Although this itinerary is remarkable and includes unique scheduling to ensure location within the “Totality” eclipse scope, who wants to turn the lights out on all these fabulous new amplifications? You can see many of the same charming ports, including days spent in Lisbon and Seville, on the season’s regular Spanish Flair itineraries on Liberty of the Seas.
If an adventure across the pond isn’t for you, exciting things are coming when Liberty returns to Galveston to explore Western Caribbean ports, including the new Royal Beach Club Cozumel opening in 2026 and Perfect Day Mexico scheduled to open in Fall of 2027.
Choosing a cruise on the Amplified Liberty of the Seas is a delicious decision dilemma. Explore Northern Europe’s iconic historical sites, glacially carved fjords, majestic natural beauty and unique culture. Spanish-focused itineraries add a blend of dance, art, culinary and musical magic to coastal communities and neighboring countries of the Med.
Closer to home, watersport aficionados are hard-pressed to find a better itinerary for snorkeling and diving than the Western Caribbean’s Roatan, Belize, Cozumel and Mexican white sand coastlines with colorful coral reefs, plentiful tropical fishlife, sea turtle populations and migrating whales.
The Royal Caribbean Amplified ship program has only made the bounty of best-in-class options better. Enhanced and expanded onboard waterplay areas, bars for specialty sips, entertainment from Broadway-to-Boleros Latin beats, included kids’ clubs and 15 crave-worthy culinary venues — there’s no shortage of adventure here.
Couples looking for romance and connection, parents with young kids looking for bolder bonding and multi-gen families hoping to help everyone in their crew find their perfect happy place will fall in love with the amplified cruise experience.
Excitement and anticipation over the Amplified Liberty of the Seas, much like new hot tubs near The Lime and The Coconut Caribbean bar, are reaching awesome heights. With its expanded pool deck, enhanced entertainment, added dining fleet favorites, waterslides for thrill fans of all ages and casino now featuring 400 machines and 35 tables, this will be the hottest ship to sail the sunseeking seas.
