Ocean Waves

All Guests, All Aboard

Updated August 22, 2022 | Effective September 5, 2022

It's now easier for more guests to sail with Royal Caribbean.

Unvaccinated travelers can join us for almost all U.S. sailings*

Guests who are not vaccinated can sail on any cruise from the U.S. or Europe (*except itineraries that visit Canada or Bermuda). See more details and browse itineraries.

Testing protocols are easier

For U.S. cruises that don’t visit Canada or Bermuda:

  • Vaccinated guests won’t have to take a pre-cruise test on cruises that are shorter than 10 nights.
  • Unvaccinated guests age 5 and up will need to test within 3 days before boarding, regardless of cruise length.
  • We will begin accepting results from self-administered home tests. See full testing details.

Requirements in other regions

Currently published testing and vaccination requirements remain in place for cruises from Australia and Singapore; cruises that depart from or visit Canada or Bermuda; and transatlantic sailings, until further notice.

Medical Grade Cleaning Standards

Medical Grade Cleaning Standards

Royal Caribbean takes great pride in keeping our ships sparkling clean. Our evolved sanitization protocols use EPA-certified disinfectants and techniques like electrostatic fogging to clean frequently and consistently. Plus we’ve reduced the need to touch surfaces wherever possible. Learn more about our cleaning protocols here.

Fresh Filtered Air

100% Fresh, Filtered Air

There's nothing like the fresh air of the open ocean, wherever you are on board. On Royal Caribbean® ships, our HVAC system continuously supplies 100% fresh, filtered air from outdoors to all indoor spaces. You can breathe easy knowing that, thanks to this robust system, the transmission of aerosol particles between spaces (like those from a cough) is extremely low to virtually impossible — as validated in an independent assessment conducted by the University of Nebraska Medical Center and the National Strategic Research Institute on board a Royal Caribbean ship. Learn more about our air and cleaning protocols here.
